Imo 2019: “Hurricane” Tony Nwulu Takes Imo By Storm



What started like tales by moonlight has now grown to a hurricane. Tony Nwulu has indeed taken the Imo political landscape by storm.

The member of the House of Representatives and UPP governorship candidate in Imo State has indeed added glamour to ongoing campaigns by governorship candidates in Imo.

Tony has brought style, finesse and a whole new dimension to the art of politicking in Imo State.

Last week, he did the extraordinary.He unveiled hundreds of buses to kick start a free transport scheme where commuters in Owerri city are conveyed to and fro their destinations free of charge.

His ongoing campaigns across the State has colour, charm and style.

Last Friday, Owerri residents were held spell bound by Nwulu’s candour and high level of humility. He strongly connected His ambition to the masses- those who vote.His convoy was swarmed by hundreds of Youths who besieged him and graced the spectacle of the 40 years federal lawmaker who initiated the Not Too Young To Run Act, which has encouraged active youth involvement in governance.

Next point of call was an amazing reception at Alaba International market, Owerri where he was again embraced by hundreds of traders who came out to see Tony speak on his plans and vision for Imo State. It was a colourful outing with the colouration of hero who has returned home to salvage his people.

He went on with series of strategic meetings with several interest groups and associations who have shown a burning passion to support Nwulu as the next Governor of Imo State. The mass support and overwhelming endorsements for his aspiration by such groups underscores the depth of acceptance and support of Tony Nwulu’s governorship bid.

He has maintained his consistency in his message of hope for Imolites vowing to make a State where the happiness of the people will remain key and paramount.

Nwulu believes in a State where every sector of Imo economy will work, where pensioners will receive their Pensions and workers will get paid as at when due.

As he hit the hinterlands, hamlets and villages, the local populace in Imo State will see the liberator, a man of impeccable character commiteed to the overall good and happiness of Imo people when elected as Governor.
